Its a "cat-back" system; lines up with the factory cat converter and runs from there to the tailpipe.
Also includes a new downpipe. You can re-use your stock cat utilizing a 3" to 2.25" transition pipe to match.
Or make something in 3" pipe that resembles the stock cat. . .
Maybe ask this guy if he can make you one of these in 3" with no flanges:
