Not sure, as I haven't even removed the pads from the set I got. But just looking at them, they're about the same size as the T-Bird/Mustang caliper that was the basis for the original "DG Big Brake Kit".

This is magic to me, because Saab 900s use the same bolt spacing on their spindles as XRs - probably a commonality with the ATE brakes, but the Merkur adapters won't work on 'em because the "hat" on the rotor is too shallow. Wonder if this later Focus stuff would bolt up to them as well... ? Are the Focus calipers ATE too?

Doesn't seem to be unless Ford forbid them from putting any identifiers into the casting. The only thing I'm finding is "CFFMF" and "FoMoCo" - no clue on what the "CFFMF" means.

Not me. And I've got stacks of the adapters for these calipers right over there.

You mean spacers? Was wondering about that, as they should be a precision fitment-- right?

Will any of the earlier focus brakes work? I.e. brackets calipers and rotors.

Can you be more specific? What are you trying to do?

Yeah really....
Good info if it works.
I'm about right there to do something with brakes.

No adaptor brakes? Whats wrong with this?
Image

Works good....Bolt on limits diameter to about 283mm so compensate for heat by being HD 1.25" thick..
Weighs less than stock rotor and caliper...

Caliper pistons of known, proven correct size..125mm long pad...
WORK GOOD---and they should since this is dimensionally like what Ford used on the cars in motorsport when using 15" wheels..

Not a thing ...until one asks, "How much?"

My objective for sharing this info was to find a cost-effective brake solution that was somewhat better than stock, with much better availability than stock parts. Were it not for the need to figure out the brake flex line (not that it's a big deal) I would have followed through and made these functional, if only for testing purposes.
