General discussion relating to club happenings and items related to Merkurs in general such as "Merkur sightings". Sterling Main Street Car Show.
Cold! Windy! Drizzly!

But we're today's Top 40 winner!!!
Scorpio is 2 for 2 at shows that are judged by actual judges.

"Presentation" was one of five elements that was being judged.
Engine Bay, Interior, Exterior and Restoration / Survivor Quality were the others.

I only saw one Megapole there.
I'm gonna take a wild-ass guess that I was Best In Show in the Presentation category.

There was a guy that I chatted with for quite awhile.
I was showing him the Scorpio's many unusual features for an '80's car... and yes, all of them work.
Didn't know it at the time but it turned out that he was a judge. I think we may have had a Merkur fan!

First Farmers Market Cruise-in of the year. Recieved many congrats on Sunday's award.
We were actually a week early... the Freight House that hosts the Farmers Market doesn't open till next week.
It'll be MUCH warmer then.

It has been getting abused!
Been cold and very windy but it can handle pretty much anything... and I'm pretty sure it won me an award.
This week, we're trading in Cold & Windy for Hot & Windy.
