Re: Is it possible to take off the TFI without a (special) t
check your grounds around alt , also check to see if the blue wire is touching the hot wire going to the alt I went and checked that. thanks. You have to have the tool...a regular socket has too large an outside diameter to fit. The good news is you can buy the tool at any auto parts store for abou...

Re: Oil cooler, what size would be adequate(+info in post)
What would be considered a "dangerous" oil pressure drop? Would it affect a non race engine more than a mildly prepped engine? or the same( oil is oil, doesnt matter what you are using, if it runs out you are screwed) If an oil pressure drop is deemed too substantial, how would one combat ...

Re: Oil cooler, what size would be adequate(+info in post)
I need to find an rx7 cooler, and from there I would liek to add an external cooler controlled by a thermostat. This statement makes no sense on many levels.... - Why are you going to get a RX7 cooler only to then replace it with one from a Mercedes (or whatever)? - The RX7 cooler already has a the...

Oil cooler, what size would be adequate(+info in post)
SO, first off I will explain teh use and conditions. I need to find an rx7 cooler, and from there I would liek to add an external cooler controlled by a thermostat. I live in a cold winter climate and the need to get oil up to op temperature in -30 is a plus( though I dont expect to be driving much ...

Thanks john! That seems like a nice setup. Do you have to change the throttle cable when you rotate intakes?

Re: aluminum body panels
Also, if I were to do thunder saloon style rear quarters, how would people feel about bolt on style?im sure you cour cut out and the reces a small fold and then bolt in, smooth over with bog. Personally, I have no problem with bolt on style and smoothing them over would make it impossible to take th...

Re: aluminum body panels
I have been doing some research into this and the general consensus seems to be that a minimum of a 150 ton press would be needed due to the springiness even for 20 gauge aluminum. Panel beating seems to be the only other option. While it may be good for my car, it would not really be worth my time ...
