Re: New to forum Intro
I'm splitting your post off into its own thread. Two separate discussions about new members and their cars in the same thread is likely to get confusing, quickly. Also, could you elaborate on what "ReTimed 18°out" means? I have some concerns about that. Welcome to the forum! "ReTimed...

Re: Anyone try this stuff "DeoxIT"
As mentioned, used in stereo parts and seems to work very well on potentionmeters and contacts.

Re: EGR Removal
EGR is the exhaust, already burnt air mass in the cylinder.
Since it is already burnt, the oxygen content is much less than fresh air.
By mixing this in the cylinder, you're putting inert gas back in, less oxygen, less NOx.

Re: For Sale: XR Red Koni Struts - Newly Rebuilt by Koni
I agree those are a nice item. Especially when you consider the new Konis/Bilsteins you see online listed as "in stock" are actually not in stock at all. You will spend your money and then wait around only to be refunded. Always go with one of the vendors here or fellow members selling ex...

Awesome deal, they just need that cool little shock decal on them to be perfect. I agree those are a nice item. Especially when you consider the new Konis/Bilsteins you see online listed as "in stock" are actually not in stock at all. You will spend your money and then wait around only to...

Some bits cut and pasted about matching the yellow that Bilstein uses from the factory.... "Hammerite Yellow Smooth is a very close match" -------------------------------------------------------------- "The actual paint brand and code that we used to refurbish shock tubes is Ellis Pa...

Also curious about 5x114.3, this is Scorpio pattern, correct?

Re: XR tail lights, Merkur trans fluid
Curious if you can say how many containers it takes of these to fill the manual trans?
I'm at that point right now with a rebuild engine/trans that I am installing.
May be interested in some of the other stuff as well.

I guess this is the obvious, but yes, also a good idea.
Most likely need to remove the winter air and replace with summer air.

Re: XR Vs. Scorpio Front Sub-frame / K-member
I guess I have a question.
Do the front sway bar bushing and brackets that hold these bushings for the Scorpio the same as the XR ones?
I've got a Scorpio front bar, but somewhere in time I think one of the bushing brackets has gone missing.

Re: Alignment, rack, or strut issues???
If it was me, I would lift the front up, remove the wheels and torque everything where it should be.
Do you paint mark them? If not, I would...That makes it easier to inspect and see if they're moving any.
