Re: Might get back into the Merkur game and had a question

International Scout II

I am continually purchasing the bastard children of the world cars so I sold my 56 ford pick up and needed a old truck. Sooo while helping my dad move from Leadville Colorado back east to Charolettesville, Virginia I located a real beast, a 1973 International Scout 2 with a myers plow on it so I shi...

ranger 2.5 Crankshaft

I looked for a good hour last night and couldn't find the information I need. What is involved in using a ranger crankshaft? I have a short block with 80k on it from an 2001 ranger and I was reading about making my 2.3 engine a 2.5 but I cant find any real concrete info about what has to be done to ...

Re: My upgrade to Eaton LSD Differential

Re: racer walsh

The valves were set up to work with that cam and the appropriate machine work involved with its installation was done. I may have to see if there is a grid that will be more viable to the turbo set up while still running those valves. As for bo port you could be right its probably just a mix up in my...

Re: racer walsh

As far as bo-port I really don't know why I've just seen some of the reactions on turbo ford. Strictly a feeling thing, it in no way reflects their product and I am not really opposed to using he product. I am in the performance suspension and steering industry internal engine work is sorta not my t...

Re: racer walsh

Well, this was about 10 years ago I bought the parts life just got in the way and I didn't get back to it(kids,works,school).. I suspect (hope)the over sized valves I had them grind my head for will still work with either an essy or bo-port cam. I don"t know if I like the bo-port stuff though. ...
